We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, but our customers really do influence the products that we carry at Mimi Imports.

Since Doctor Who first aired in 1963, fans have seen 12 doctors come and go. With this 51 year history, the fan products available should be endless, right? This is true, but only if you’re a Doctor Who fan who lives in the UK. For fans in North America, the products initially available were limited and not easily accessible for retailers in Canada.

After hearing multiple customers talk about the demand and limited accessibility for Doctor Who products in 2012 that they just weren’t able to meet, we knew it was time to step in and help. If some of our own customers were looking for a better way to access Doctor Who products, then it was safe to say that there were others as well. Just like with our other products, we looked to partner with global Licensees who were interested in expanding their business in the North American market. As it turns out, there were a number of partners who were ready and waiting to move into this largely untapped market.

Today, we carry over 250 Doctor Who related products. From clothing and apparel, to collectibles and home ware, we’re got something for every fan. This number is constantly growing as new products are released, so check back often for new items. We have many new item set to launch in early 2015, including an expanded collection for the 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi.
