Mrs. Brown’s Boys is back!  Mrs. Brown’s Boys’ live episode airs in June 2016 to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of sitcoms airing on BBC One.  The show is also to return with its sixth season featuring its regular Christmas and New Year’s specials at the end of the year.

The hit Irish-British comedic sitcom, created by and starring Brendan O’Carroll, features a loud-mouthed Irish mother whose favorite pastime is meddling in the lives of her six children.  Each episode is filmed in front of a live studio audience and features an informal production style, allowing actors to ad lib and bring out the crude and hilarious humor that makes this show unique.

The show originated back in 1992, when O’Carroll appeared on an Irish radio station and then went on to write a series of books in the mid-1990s.  Since then, the series has exploded with a huge fan base located in Ireland and Britain, making its way to North Americans, as well.
